Paula Schmitt grew up in North Carolina and began her professional acting career with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, playing the role of Sophie in their production of THE BFG. She has also played such roles as Myrrha in METAMORPHOSES, Sunny in THE LAST NIGHT OF BALLYHOO, Viola in TWELFTH NIGHT, and Hermia in A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM. Most recently, she has been seen on the LA stage playing the title role in SYLVIA, as well as Clarice in A SERVANT OF TWO MASTERS and Horsely in the Best of Hollywood Fringe Festival 2011 musical THE MILFORD PROJECT.
