From a very young age, James D. Schumacher III was interested in the art of storytelling and film-making. Encouraged by his parents, at the age of 10 he started to write novels, short stories and started to shoot with the help of a VHS camcorder his first short films. After high school James began production work at a television station, where he quickly became the assistant morning show director, and then the morning show director.
While in his television tenure, James began to pursue writing, directing and producing films, commercials and music videos. Using the practice of blending dramatic themes and escapism visuals into his films has allowed James to create numerous short films, screenplays and feature length films.
James consolidated his efforts under SCHUMACHER III (www.schumacher3.com) and now is currently involved in numerous film and television projects.
