Rhonda Burns started cutting hair at age 12 and loved it immediately! Growing up in the beach town of Ventura, CA, surfer bangs were cool! Rhonda cut her way through Junior High School, High School and later Art School.
Having a background in design, color and composition has helped her enormously as a visual artist transcending into hair design. She did not pursue getting her cosmetology license till way after attending The Art Center College of Design, having children and a long standing career as an illustrator and graphic artist.
Now that Rhonda has added a career in the Motion Picture industry to her repertoire as a Union Hairstylist, she enjoys the collaboration of working with film and commercial crews, directors and actors to create the characters for specific roles. And she does believe in the saying “God is in the details.”
Rhonda is an IATSE Union 706 Hairstylist and previously worked on Leslie Hope’s short film, GAYKEITH.
