Jean Christophe Argillet was born in 1966. Since the publishing activities of his parents led them to have close connections with the painter, he actually grew up in the universe of Salvador Dalí.
Pierre Argillet, Jean Cristophe’s father, was one of the leading proponents of the important surrealist art movement, and published most of Salvador Dalí’s famous graphic works of art and portfolios. These works have, over the years, become prized by major collectors all over the world.
In 1998, Jean Christophe and the late Michael Galfer (Jeff’s father) became business associates and friends. When Michael passed away, Jean Christophe and his family continued to be close friends with the Galfer family. His generous support and belief in BURIED TREASURE resulted in his becoming the sole Executive Producer.
